New recordings: Hitchcock/Truffaut and Hangover Square
Sony is releasing a Herrmann compilation of music from Hitchcock and Truffaut films (Esa-Pekka Salonen conducting the Los Angeles Philharmonic) in September. And Marco Polo is planning a release of the Concerto Macabre from Hangover Square (along with Addinsell’s Warsaw Concerto, and Cornish Rhapsody).
