New recording of Garden of Evil and Prince of Players
“Just as exciting [{as the release of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir}] is a new, complete recording of Garden of Evil, conducted by film composer/orchestrator William Stromberg and recorded in Moscow. Pardon me for sounding hyperbolic, but the sound is superb, the playing outstanding and the style vividly “Herrmann-esque.” A 15-minute Prince of Players suite will also be on the disc (also conducted by Stromberg, and assembled by film composer John Morgan). I believe this disc will be released by Marco Polo sometime around the end of the year.”
